WHO WE ARE

Our Story

Phlore Learning Annexe (PLAN) started as Phlore Learning Annexe, Nigeria, which was an entrepreneurial academy. Our target audience was the Nigerian Youth. We organised intensive entrepreneurship programmes that helped both aspiring and existing young entrepreneurs.

These programmes harnessed youths with essential tools and skills required to succeed. They engaged in projects that taught them real-life experiences and earned certificates of completion. Today, many Nigerians have benefitted from our programs, and have moved on to start their businesses.

However, we realised that people needed adequate education, but finance posed a big problem. So, we decided to provide an online platform that gives them easy and affordable access to the education they need.

Our Concern

Education is not more confined to the four physical walls of a classroom. It is now accessible globally online, without the barriers of time and space. There are several degrees online from many continents today. But Africa is yet to come out with a standard means of reaching its youth with necessary academic tools that can compete with the growing world education advancement.             

Our Founders

Engr. Taiwo Fawole is a social entrepreneur as well as a Senior Lecturer of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is passionate about education, human development, and capacity building. The idea to build this platform came from his need to make everyone have access to education and the necessary skills they need without having to pay through their nostrils.

He advocates for the adoption of e-learning in institutions in Nigeria, and this gave him a position as the Committee Chairman of the E-learning arm of the institution where he lectures. He is presently the Director in the Directorate of Digital Technology and Services of the same Institution.

He engages in free trainings and events. He is a motivational speaker, and gives talks on entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, cultivating positive mindsets, and empowerment.

His dream today is to make Africans have access to quality education irrespective of location and financial status.

Dr Abosede Fawole PhD is an accomplished academic researcher and Microbiologist. She studied at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where she gained the following academic qualifications: Diploma in Microbiology and Virology; Postgraduate Diploma in Education; BSc in Microbiology; and MSc in Industrial Microbiology. She was awarded a PhD in Food and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Reading, England.

Her academic journey is proof of her passion for education. And, having studied in two different continents, she became aware of the lax in the education system in Africa, and how e-learning has not been explored to its fullest. Her career has benefitted from various online education, and she hopes to extend this opportunity to many Africans.
